Brigitte Fontaine & Grace Jones - Dancefloor … & here’s the official videoclip - nothing startling mainly because neither of the great laydees was available to be in it.

Brigitte Fontaine - Dancefloor - Live in Paris 2011 (feat. Grace Jones)

I’ve been a fan of Brigitte Fontaine for ages. She’s used Grace Jones on a couple of tracks in recent years but this is one of my favourites. Dancefloor. The original is a brilliant dance track and this live version proves that a couple of ‘old-girls’ can still set a stage alight.

Grace Jones - I Need A Man. An out-take from One Man Show (1981 & 82) devised by Jean-Paul Goude and Grace.

The show was released on Video Cassette in 1982 and nominated for a Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video. It is still not available officially on DVD.

Yes Donna Summer won an Oscar! (well Paul Jabara did for writing this song that was featured in the film Thank God It’s Friday).
